When a first-year university student arrives at a community centre for what should be an easy volunteering placement, he expects content for his channel. What he doesn’t expect is Annie, who runs the place with no patience for ego, excuses, or being watched.
As lives collide and people are forced to confront the lives they’ve worked hard to keep hidden, old wounds resurface, loyalties are tested, and the line between care and control begins to blur, but who is watching?
Exposed is an intimate, site-specific drama that places the audience inside the room as every silence, every shift, and every boundary crossed unfolds at close quarters. Exploring connection, loneliness, and the pressures we hide from one another, Exposed asks what happens when the masks we rely on begin to slip—and what is revealed when private lives can no longer stay hidden.

Julia Howson
Julia has had a varied acting & teaching career over 43 years. Jenny Johns
Trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School where she won the Newton Blick Award 2011 for outstanding versatility. She has worked extensively with theatre companies in Oxfordshire, Bristol, Bath, and London on a variety of work from new writing to open-air Shakespeare. Theatre credits include: Jane Eyre (Bristol Old Vic/National Theatre). Radio: Ambridge Extra (BBC), The Archers (BBC). Film and television: The Experiments (Channel 4).
Daniel North
Daniel recently made his professional debut in the London Revival of Stephen Schwartz’s Pippin at The Gatehouse, Highgate. Having graduated from Italia Conti in 2025, credits while in training include Marius in Les Miserables; Burrs in The Wild Party; Orpheus in Hadestown; Clyde in Bonnie and Clyde; and Frank Jr in Catch Me If You Can.
Charlotte Thompson
Charlotte is a member of the National Youth Theatre, and is currently training at The Actors Lounge in Oxford. Whilst a student at Lancaster University, Charlotte was involved in 10+ shows, including roles as Beatrice in A View from the Bridge; Hamlet in Hamlet; Joan in The Graveyard Shift; and Bernadette in Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons.
